No, totally put me off VW as in running costs / camshaft failure. Surely this shouldnt happen these days at 70 odd K

What's it like to drive?
Not bad, engine is fairly pokey when in the power range. Handling is ok if a liettle wallowy but its a heavy car

Have you had any problems with the car?
Camshaft went at 75K which is aparently common on these PD engines, cost a mere £750 by specialist to replace. Clutch also went at 70k at a cost of £650. Brakes warped at 78k....Total cost in 5months of ownership nearly £3k inc servicing etc!
What's most practical about your car?
Its Diesel so not bad on fuel
