Classless and quite rare. Although getting on a bit, still quite desirable!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It's Golf: enough said.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Who knows - early days but given I have another Mk V anyway, probably not.
What are you likely to buy next?
If I get lucky, a Porsche. If not, a bike.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Paid near on top dollar but with 32k miles from new and full main dealer history it was probably worth it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Used to fancy one when they first appeared then forgot all about them. Needed a 2nd car and found this one in totally original condition and v.low mileage.

What's it like to drive?
A lot of fun. Great engine with a lovely throaty growl under hard acceleration. Light steering and gear box. Handles well although springing a little soft compared to my MK V GTI. Refined when required but I keep reaching for an imaginary 6th gear!
