Did you get a good deal and why?

Got a really good deal, the car was a year old when I had bought it and had been used as a demonstrator but only had 4k on the clock

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

My previous car was about to die on me and wanted something a bit more fun to drive

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was very helpful up to the point where I has paid my cash and drove off, the customer service since has been somewhat patchy at best

What's it like to drive?

Its great to drive. The steering is great, very responsive and gives lots of feedback, I especially like how it feels heavier at higher speeds. But the best thing is the engine, you have to keep reminding yourself its only a 1.4 albeit with a supercharger and turbo. Its revs freely and theres lots of low down grunt when you need it, but get it past 3500rpm and it starts to fly, and it glides down the motorway with ease. I did want a Gti but after I drove this I really couldnt bring myself to pay the extra cash and live with the Gti's mpg, I regualrly get 40 plus mpg around town, and always get high 40's mpg on the motorway.

What's it like to park?

Its ok to park the thick c pillars tend to restrict your view but thats not too much of a problem if you use the mirrors properly.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The only problem Iv had is with the cd/mp3 player which doesnt like to play cds unless the cars been driven for about 20 mins which cab be rather annoying, Iv taken it back to the dealer numerous times but have had no joy in getting it replaced.

What's most practical about your car?

Its quite big so you can easily seat 5 adults in relative comfort. The boot is also a good size.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The automatic headlights and wipers are great, but I love the little turbo boost gauge it always makes me think of Knightrider when I put my foot down. But wish it had cruise control though.
