Definitely - VW seem to be a very reliable brand.

Volvo XC70 - need a larger family car this time...

Did you get a good deal and why?

Fantastic reduction on a pre-registered car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

New version of a previous Golf.

What was the dealer like?

Superb - VW York.

What's it like to drive?

Handles well around corners, feels very progressive on the road considering it only has 140bhp. Seems to soak up bumps in the road - good balance between rock-hard, racing-like handling and day-to-day comfort.

What's it like to park?

Easy - small and relatively square.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The car now has 130,000 on the clock. The only thing to have required any maintenance (other than regular servicing), are the rear shocks. They had leaky seals at its last service - not bad for a sporty car though.

What's most practical about your car?

Plenty of space in the rear for passengers - surprising.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The sports seats are very comfortable.
