Expensive when new, but excellent quality.

Some parts very cheap, others expensive. Main agent servicing expensive.

Still enjoy driving it after 120k miles. Safe and predictable.

Amazing for a relatively small bhp diesel. Sluggish before well run-in.

Main dealers variable. Many of the best ones went with the VW/Audi split some years ago. VW UK totally useless, don't even go there.
