They call it a poor mans Audi but I don't care.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If another came up then most likely but want to see if I can get the car to crack 300k.

Depends on circumstances but not looking to change for a good while yet.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Think so. £4k for a good clean example with 84k and FDSH.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had wanted a Passat B5.5 estate and this came up.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Plenty of shove with 130hp and decent fuel economy of 44mpg over last 5k. Handles well but you do feels its weight and size compared to newer cars. Excellent build quality and always feels solid.

What's it like to park?

Piece of cake with rear sensors but don't really need them as boot window gives excellent view.

Have you had any problems with the car?

So far nothing apart from CD player won't turn off and Radio loses presets.

What's most practical about your car?

Loves the 4wd as I tow. Has got me out of muddy fields on many occasions and through the snow during winter without an issue.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Got to be the cruise control and 4wd system.
