Volkswagen Passat Estate (2015 - 2024) 2.0 TDI SE Business 5d Owner Review

Comfortable, lots of room inside with a huge boot (Estate version). Watch out for sparse spec on cheaper versions - only the top models have climate control. Mine's an early 2018 but that's still true of the current version. In 2021!! There's a sweet spot for s/h cars from later 2018 up to the facelift in 2020 when the cars came highly equipped - I'd recommend one of those. The battery died after 26 months, giving a weird problem of little power then stalling. Called the RAC who read the fault code which said a faulty air intake sensor. Car had to be transported home, then to a VW dealer - all during the first covid lockdown.
