Good fuel economy on motorway (40mpg). Good value for money from initial purchase

I drive the car 2100 miles a month, love every mile!
Performance
Quick enough. 50 - 70 mph in 8.7 seconds which is the same time for a BMW 325i (192bhp). Excellent torque, but could have done with 6 gears. Was made for the motorway!

Living with it
Reliability
Only had it 2 months, but so far so good. Mine came with 1 owner and FVWsh @ 55k miles. Now done 60k. Touch wood!

Nice big car, however will start to look out dated very quickly, specially with the new passat just come out
Comfort
Spend 20hrs a week driving the car. VERY comfortable. Never suffered from back ache, which I did feel in my Mk2 Golf 16v and E36 325i BMW

Very slight tapping noise coming from inside the dash but not outside. Seems like a common problem.
