Value
Value for money and ride are unbeatable. Image not the best, but for high mileage motoway use, you can't beat it.
Costs
Bought mine from a lease company with 98,000 on the clock and saved a fortune. Don't worry about high mileage - they go on forever. Make sure you change cambelt though!

My car has done 125,000 miles and drives like new. Fantastic!
Performance
The turbo has no lag between gear changes, making a smooth transition.

Reliability
Never had a slight problem. Doesn't burn a drop of oil between services.
Comfort
Recardo seats with lumbar can drive for miles without any fatigue. Even more comfortable than my Mercs and BMWs.

Locking rear seats and boot security lock extra secure to store anything valuable.
Service
VW dealers are expensive and unhelpful. Go to Euro car parts - much cheaper for spares.
