Great fuel economy, but lost by expensive parts (try German Swedish French Car parts -Nationwide outlets!) 1/2 price of VW and still the quality!

Diesel great for economy! Parts expensive. Use inedpendants / other retailers for saving money, but still with value and quality!

Very smooth and responsive.
Performance
Turbo diesel quick and eager, quiet and very economical (50+ round town and 60+ on motorway!)

Very good. Starts 1st time with no hesitation, but air mass meter major fault! CV boots and joints also (all expensive to replace if you use VW!)

Great shape and design, very well layed out cabin, spacious in back for kids and great for short or long distances!
Comfort
Height adjustable and lumbar supports make it very comfortable.

Good VW security system.
Service
VW garages very expensive and arrogant! Use independant VW outlets and GSF car parts for great quality replacement parts at fraction of VW parts, still use the VW manafacturers like Bosch etc!
