What does this car say about you?
Tight fisted, old before my time, Mr Brown Courdoroy Trousers and Tweed jacket with leather elbows! Too Sensible/Boring.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Stop acting like an old man and get a fun car!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Was obviously a Friday afternoon car quick off the line. Lots of rattles and squeaks with some pretty scary problems. Price of car is reaching into the Executive car bracket. Better value to be had from BMW or Audi.

Got discount on a number of options including bigger wheels, stereo upgrade and 2 years free servicing.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Not trust worthy. Will not use them again

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Thirsty, reasonably responsive but nothing exciting. A bit of a sail barge around town wallowing around corners but eats the miles on motorway runs.
What's it like to park?
Doddle... rear park distance control, a good turning circle and good visibility make it easy as pie.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Base switch replaced, Stereo replaced, Dash replaced 4 times. Passenger airbag replaced. All under warranty so no cost to me except inconvenience and loss of use of my car for nearly 2 months while work was being carried out.
What's most practical about your car?
Folding rear seats and boot space easily fits fully mountain bike and associated gear.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated Seats and park distance control. Parking Passat is one of its main plus points. It is VERY easy to parallel park.
