Excellent value. Cheap to run, tax, insure, everything!
Costs
About 10p a mile on petrol when it's being thrashed.

Driving
Handles really well - better than a Nova, Mk2 Golf or an Uno! Brakes aren't too fantastic though, due to not being servo assisted.
Performance
Quickest standard 1.3 I know. It beats 1.3 Golfs, 1.4 Novas, 1.4 Astras and anything really that's small and standard.

I've had 2 and both never caused me any reliability problems.

Don't have a very good image for some reason. I think they can look nice when a bit of money is spent on them.
Comfort
Extremely comfy. I'm 6' 2" and it's not a problem. Soft suspension takes a lot of the bumps and potholes.

All you need is a screwdriver and a piece of plastic and your Polo is gone I'm afraid!
