Value
Great value for money I think! Got it from a VW dealer for 6.5 k! with their warranty to boot!
Costs
Not dented my wallet yet! Fuel economy is good unless you go a bit crazy with the performance along with the aircon!

Good level of grip, steering a bit over assisted. Safe and secure handling. Nice smooth gear change!
Performance
Hardworking 1600 engine which is very torquey and responsive!

The only thing i have had a problem with is the VW 6 cd auto changer playing up and not reading my CD's! but fixed under warranty!

I got it in red which looks sporty! Non offensive good looking car!
Comfort
Quite a hard ride! But hey its a GTi! Seats are comfortable! Climate control is a welcome standard extra! When it gets dark and the lights come on the dash surrounds you with a wonderful blue glow! Good rear leg room!
