What does this car say about you?

Polo has a classless quality to it. Don't know what that says about me.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I've had it 6 years now so they've all got used to it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'd recommend it to anyone but now I do so few miles in my car (wife has larger, family car) I would get something old and more interesting.

An old golf gti or maybe a porsche 924/944

Like VWs, was doing a high mileage in 2004

What was the dealer like?

Fine

What's it like to drive?

Nippy at low speeds but never fast. Economical 65mpg out of town and never managed less than 50mpg (even with my trailer on around town)

What's it like to park?

Easy

Have you had any problems with the car?

Early problems with ABS warning light were traced to poor connection rather than faulty sensors - dealer couldn't work it out and i did it myself in the end. Replacement power steering pump was needed at 50,000 miles.

What's most practical about your car?

economy, seats 4 easily and boot quite spacious if you pack it with small things but slightly awkward shape makes large single items (e.g. prams) difficult

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It doesn't really have any. as i'm a bit sad i like the hydraulic strut on the bonnet but most polo drivers won't care.
