On the surface, the car looks excellent value for money, but it is only when you discover all of the Polo's faults that you realise why VW are selling them so cheap.

Alright because everthing is being paid under the manufacturer's warranty at the moment.

The best I can say is that the car has not broken down.

Terrible service. They did not want to recognise the faults on my car and could not wait to pass me onto to the retailer. I had to write to the Managing Director before I even got a written response.

Sluggish performance when starting from cold.

Terrible dashboard rattle, which the retailer can't fix and won't even acknowledge. Broken heater, window problems, noisy clutch.
