VW badge,Father had many Golf GTi's over the years from 1987 to 2000, Mother had new 02 polo(in 2002/3) -(not for long - traded it for 56 golf tdi)

a lame duck! - ok on motorway at speed though.
What's it like to park?
ok, rear viz not so good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
YES!!! emissions light konked out the car on 3 seperate occasions - vw fault. Paint - corrossion on boot. Front Bushes on suspenion replaced after 30k Suspenion still knocks & rattles - vw say nothing they can do! Servicing the car so expensive at VW dealer - last one July 08 (£450) Failed Every MOT since bought.
