Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

The polo is a small class city car, it's came a long way since my first ride in ones from the 80's. Even the models from 2000 which I thought was reasonable, but a little slow. As IM older I happened across one of the newer n9 1.4 models which I had assumed would have the performance of any other car about the same. For example the astra 1.4. oh it doesn't!!! I have had a few Cooper's recently they are small inside, have a terrible boot space and a tight engine bay. The polo has some room in all the spaces the mini didn't, including rear leg room but lacked in fun factor and quality feel. There are some stupid design work, such as the glove box above the shelf so it doesn't open well or as practicable as they can and should be. The engine and bay is very nice as it has space, which these days is rare. However bolts sheered making simple maintenance and problems overly expensive and down to penny pinching parts list/suppliers. The car is solid and rustless. This is typical of most cars these day but there are plenty that rot in years. Saying that a flaw in the rear wiper water feed has given it a lovely rusty boot spare inside and out due to a pipe joint made bad. Crash and protection is quite good and much better than the old versions, I put my kids in one. Comfort and internally the seats are not to hard or soft, there not sporty and the internals are dated and have that paint on rubber that's coming off on most parts. But it's stood up well, no holes, but the cup holder has ejected itself. It's plain and solid, but dates and boring... I've not drove much but found it under powered, but fine around town. On the motorway is was well behaved and didn't screem along nor was there too much road noise. Capable, just, but that's the aim of the car so meets this entirely. Great for granny, new drivers and those who just want to get about. Cheap tax, good miles per gallon. However the data shows the more power the better the mpg. It does need it. But if between 38-47mpg is good. My 1.6sxi astra got around 46, my 2.2 TD espace auto got 17-49mpg and my 1.8 Vectra did 27mpg. Same.as.my 2.5v6 Fuel is near diesel levels and the cost of set is is great so make no difference over all in running costs between the two. It's got a reasonable size, it's not small IMO as it's the size of the old golf. It's understated, under powered but basic ++ travel. It's a car not a sports car does the job.

How reliable do you find the car?

I picked up this car cheap. It had a warning light on the dash, which is the ege value, and it was also found to be in backwards. There was a fault on the passenger seat belt SRS. And that's about it as current. The past owner had a few bits to change , but nothing out or ordinary. However, cheese for bolts... So lots of snaps and sheers. Even on easy bit.....

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

It's a Polo, I've had several golfs mod cars and a few other cars like the mini, it is a class car, but falls to.the mid to low point, but still fairly good poor power... But okay.. I've drove many many many cars so I have a varied view and wide knowledge base. It is better in some areas than others.
