Value
Good. I got free Alloys, CD player and metalic paint all for the list price. Not bad as that was nearly a £1000 of extras.
Costs
Very cheap to insure and tax.

Driving
Good. Could handle a bit better. You can feel the car going underneath you on roundabouts, sport models don't due to the better suspension, I hear.
Performance
Excellent for a 1.2, but does lose its puff after about 3500 revs. Just about to trade in for a 1.9 Tdi Sport, which I've heard is extremely quick!

Reliability
Usual VW standard. Only thing that has gone wrong in 6 months is the rear wash-jet. Stopped working but fixed very quickly by dealer.

Has a very good image compared to rivals, holds its value very well.
Comfort
Brilliant. The seats wrap around nice, A/C was heaven in the summer!

Good I understand. I think the red flashing light on the door is a good idea. Deters would-be theives.

Cabin does have the odd rattle, a very common problem I hear and not just on the Polo!
