Value
Keeps value, bargain at 4995 with 18Kmls on 03 plate, warning don't import from ireland warrenty runs out after 2yrs.
Costs
Poor MPG 325mls/tank from 1.2 expensive servicing and parts. I expected a little more from a VW.

Easy to park, responsive power steering, logical equipment lay out.
Performance
Oh dear, engine management system and emissions problems cost dealer £+++ for new lambada probe. Turned out to be faulty valve cost £18. 0-60 might as well wait till Christmas.

Bit old grannyish but I think it's quite classy and therefore insurance is vcheap.
Comfort
Harsh ride on country roads, really slow down speed bumps or exhaust cops it.

Don't always beleive what they tell you, every dealership seems to have a diffrent story. However VW Stockport and Oldham sorted it out.
