Economy
Value
Good second hand buy. 4 years old with only 20k miles! Also a Karmann Ghia special edition so more for your money - different paint from standard, alloys from the options list, climatronic, different interior.
Costs
Excellent economy, 45mpg around town, always over 50mpg on motorway, so far had 60.3mpg at 65-70mph! Also tax and insurance are low.

Very nice to drive. Refined ride, good handling and good performance.
Performance
I have just had this car chipped up to 130bhp and it flies! The standard 100bhp is absolutely fine but the chip has made the mid-range acceleration frightening! Quicker than the Golf or Seat Leon Tdi 150!

Still early days but so far so good, as you would expect from VW.

Looks less understated than other Polo's and gets quite a few glances. It's a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing which is good as it doesn't attract attention from the boys in blue!
Comfort
Very comfortable, sports suspension makes it a bit firmer around town but very good on motorway.
