Value
Picked mine up as a Pre reg for 15k, should hold its value reasonably well making it good value for the money.
Costs
I opted out of my company car scheme and bought this vehicle to do high mileages, no unexpected costs so far.

Driving
Good solid feel. Some issues with visibility due to those large front pillars.
Performance
I love that VW diesel GRUNT, plenty of power and will cruise all day, day in day out.

Reliability
Hasn't let me down. I've done 40K miles so far and very much expect it will probably do 150K without much trouble.

My kids call it Dad's fat VW. I think it looks OK, perhaps VW could have put a bit more thought into the styling.
Comfort
I have a back problem and find the up right seating position helps. No complaints.

I have no idea how anyone would knick one. Except for once or twice I have locked it with the remote locking and the electric windows all came down, never quite figure this one out.

Used quite a bit of oil to start with. This gets better with age. Why I have no idea.
Other
Had to have a new Central locking control unit. I think this is a problem VW know about.
