Value
Expected slightly better from VW but, not bad.
Costs
Not cheapest to buy but, fuel economy is good.

Driving
Comfortable drive on motorway but throws you around a bit around town.
Performance
Very capable acceleration particularly on motorways and given size / weight of vehicle.

I think I got a bad one as I have had new cylinder head and EGR plus seat back and computer / display has tendency to appear bright red once or twice a week. Had to get VW UK involved as local dealer rubbish.

I actually like the car overall and having done 21.5k from new and being my first mpv I am bitten slightly but, will opt for verso next as far more kit and nicer looking.

Having had several VW's I was disappointed with lack of equipment.

Not had problems with this but alarm very, very sensitive and keeps going off outside my work.

VW UK were ok once involved but local dealer useless.

Engine
On board computer kept telling me to stop and check coolant. After three visits to local dealer with no success, I got VW UK involved and car had new cylinder head after 18k!
Other
Seat back came apart and had to be replaced. Exhaust fumes entered cabin and new EGR had to be fitted.
