1.6 is a little underpowered, but cruises well at speed - handling is adequate if unexciting.

A heavy car which works the 1.6 engine fairly hard to exract good progress - good long distance cruiser.

Very reliable. I have replaced radiator, battery and rear wheel cylinders.

Who cares? It's comfortable, solid and reliable - I like it.

A very comfortable car - roomy and quiet.

Locks are poor. Alarm is fitted, but not a very nickable car.

Main Volvo dealers are expensive - I do most of my servicing myself.
