Value
Cheaper than most in class, though much better than many Ford rivals.
Costs
Surprisingly good economy, have averaged 40mpg even when driven "enthusiastically."

Smooth ride, good equipment, handling spot-on, car goes where you tell it to.
Performance
Good acceleration and very high top-speed. New 1.8 engine in old-shape (lighter) 440 body. Ride a bit noisy at high revs over 110mph.

Starts first time, never had any problem from 35,000 miles second-hand.

Not over-refined, looks sturdy and tough, but with executive edge of class.
Comfort
Always comfortable, electric pack includes lovely seat-warmers.
