Initially impressed but now appalled at the amount of faults I have had with it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely not! I am amazed that I have had so many problems with a Volvo. I gave the car back to Mill Volvo the dealer and took a £3K hit on the price as I was sick and tired of the faults. The MD of Volvo UK offered me a discount on my next Volvo! My answer to that was short and sweet!
What are you likely to buy next?
I have already replaced it with a Jaguar XK convertible.

Good looks and steel retractable roof
What was the dealer like?
Mill Volvo of Stockton. Very efficient with the sale but when the car was handed back because of the problems I had to accept a loss of £3000 on the purchase price as this was "our best deal"! Not impressed.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Heavy on corners, average acceleration but with a noisy diesel engine when pushed. Not very frugal on deisel.
What's it like to park?
Difficult due to the high boot line. Reverse sensors are a must.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Lots! The steel roof failed to lock and a call back to the dealer was required. It then developed a fault with the roof lining. The engine fuel injection failed and the car was operating on half power for about 10 days until new parts could be fitted. Then fog light filled with water. A decal fell off the boot lid. The driver's door mirror clicked repeately when opening the car. Parts were missing from the arm rest. The windscreen rubber seal detached and was flapping around in the wind. The gearbox was noisy in the over-run at low speeds. Very evident on smooth roads.
What's most practical about your car?
Convertible with steel roof.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Initially the roof until it caused problems.
