• Summary

What does this car say about you?

Steady and reliable, like the car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My walking friends think it is brilliant as I can take 5 of us off on walking trips with all their luggage and rucksacks.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes if they were still made but have been replaced by the V40 which is a more modern shape but has lost some of its luggage space. I like the solidity of Volvos and the reliability. I had a huge smash in mine writing off an Astra but the Volvo was repairable and I climbed out without a scratch or bruise.

What are you likely to buy next?

As the V50 has been discontinued I would probably look at a skoda yeti.
