Value
Cheaper than main rivals, but feels more stylish and better built.
Costs
Some extra parts/ accessories seem very expensive - Volvo servicing can be pricy anyway.

Very pleasant - as good as previous S60 if not better.
Performance
Dealer raved about engine before I got it and mid-range punch is excellent

Reliability
Engine Management means car back to garage 3 times in 2700 miles - Now trying to reject - unfortunate new car - new engine experience I guess.

Why are people fixated with Merc/ BMW. Volvo were clever matching up against Audi to be more realistic.
Comfort
Usual super seats, etc - but engine noise can be intrusive and I think there is a little too much wind noise to be honest.

Excellent remote lighting system and alarm/ immobiliser etc.

Wing mirror had to be re-sealed to reduce wind noise. Slight rattle from rear of car as yet undiscoverd!
