You like the understatement of Volvo.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all think I bought a lemon.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Even my mechanic said he has seen lots of problems with these Volvos over the years - suspension failure, engine malfunctions, gearbox linkage problems, and others are common, in his experience. Sadly, these Volvos are not like the ones of old, and not built to last.
What are you likely to buy next?
A volkswagen, or older, more solid Volvo.

Did you get a good deal and why?
No. The car came with a bucket-load of mechanical and electrical problems.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We needed a cheap, reliable diesel estate car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Clumps, bangs, very slow.
What's it like to park?
Quite nifty. Not as nimble as some similar sized cars I've had but still very maneuverable.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear tail-lights didn't work. Symbol saying engine required service on dashboard, car trips into 'limp mode'. Knocking from rear of vehicle - costly suspension repairs, Steering wobble due to worn steering arms.
What's most practical about your car?
A good size in a smaller package.
