Probably not, but only due to the high price.

Something smaller, I don't really need an estate. Looking at Peugeot 207 GT or Renault Clio

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Overall very refined. Very quiet while cruising on the motorway. Good engine torque as you would expect from a turbo diesel, but a little noisy when accelerating hard. Respectably quick, but nothing special. Lower gears are too close together, resulting in a huge rev drop from 5th to 6th. Can be annoying on country roads, constantly shifting between 5th and 6th at around 60 mph. Handling feels sporty without being too harsh, with loads of grip from the 17" 205/45 tyres.
What's it like to park?
Ok for the size, I've got the rear park assist option which is very useful on this type of car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing serious. Lost turbo boost once while cruising on the motorway. One of the hoses had come loose. Fixed in 10 mins back at the garage. Nothing else to note in 40,000 miles
What's most practical about your car?
Useful increase in luggage space compared to saloon
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat Nav, with the steering wheel mounted joystick controls. Easy to set while on the move. Very expensive option though!
