Can usually negotiate a good deal and quite fair with trade in.

Servicing is usually quite high. I have been overcharged for oil twice.

A pleasure to drive and gives you a feeling of safety and reliability.

Very sluggish up hills. Its quite a surprise what goes past.

Often does not start. Seatbelt on drivers side gets caught in door does not recoil properly. Aircon costly to repair. Volvo reluctant to deal with properly.

Have been buying Volvos for over 20 years but recently (is it the Ford Culture) they seem reluctant to listen properly and also put right design faults.
