Value
Bought at 104k miles for £8k. I have had it 2 years - 142k miles now.
Costs
Expensive parts. 2.5 TDi fantastic, especially for a car this size.

Very good armrests - perfect fit. Electric seats a joy through the winter. In snow, leave it at home - surprising for a Swedish car.
Performance
Very quick diesel. Leaves 95% of petrol cars standing (Firefox).

Volvos seen as sensible and boring, but the new models are getting more stylish.

Very comfortable, heated seats. It's like sitting in a cockpit.

Never any problem. Very sensitive alarm. Don't leave window slightly open as alarm goes of at slightest bit of wind.

I get serviced regulary by my own performance car mechanics - cheaper.
