Volvo V90 (2016 - 2023) Inscription Plus T8 Twin Engine AWD auto 5d Owner Review

T8 twin engine has tremendous performance for such a big heavy car. Great looking car and high quality, very comfortable interior. Inscription plus has every extra you could want. Expensive, so get a nearly new at massive saving from new price. For my 20 mile round trip commute and local shopping, T8 PHEV works well as do it all in electric mode and only need petrol once a month, unless going on holiday/trip away. When you want a very quick overtake, put it in 'Polestar' mode and 440 bhp makes it absolutely rocket! Lovely drive, relaxing and refined. Fantastic interior and my big German Shepherd is well accommodated in the back, need roof bars and box to go away with him though. Looked at similar power/spec BMW 5 Touring, Audi A6 and Merc E class, all nice too of course but so much more expensive for the massive list of options I have with the Volvo. I see touchscreen is slated in some reviews but mine has voice command which works very well once you learn what to say and is no distraction at all. 3 year service plan was haggled at a good price, local dealership (Grantham) very good. It's different (and in some ways better) than German marques, highly reccommend T8 if your commute/ journeys are short enough.
