Volvo XC60 (2008 - 2017) D5 (215bhp) R Design Nav AWD 5d Geartronic Owner Review

I've had a fair amount of vehicles. From sporty Toyota celica's, to VW Amarok's and all sorts in between and this is my favourite car ever whom will be with me until the day she dies!
Bought as a 1 owner ex Volvo demo vehicle with only 15k on her I've now done a lot of miles. So far, totally trouble free. Safe. Goes like shit off a shovel. Relatively economical given that I drove like I stole her - mpg has hit 60 when driving like a granny. Holds the road so well, doesn't wallow unlike some of the larger vehicles I have had. With the 2.4 D5 engine she sounds amazing too, a real rumble. Comfortable, even for 6'4 son in the back. Boot size great for 4 spaniels or multiple large suitcases, bike with front wheel off and one side rear seat down. Tows a trailer with 2 horses in it so easily and smoothly with excellent towing capacity. Mine is the auto gearbox with manual optional selection (handy towing onto muddy fields etc)
I absolutely adore this vehicle (Lola) and have since bought both my kids Volvo's (c30) based on their safety
