In their own words

Bought at 165,000 Had the inherent de-bonded windscreen. Fixed by Volvo for £150 (New windscreen) plus a major deep clean.
Since then, it has been a reasonably reliable workhorse. Power steering pump was also faulty when bought and began to gradually get worse as time went on.
Clutch and flywheel failed at 168,000, Expected as was probably original. the fitting bill of nearly £1000 was not.
Gearbox then failed due to botched install at 170,000 £3000 for a recon unit.
Since then refreshed numerous suspension components due to boredom, remapped and just enjoyed it. Returning between 35-39 mpg on a run, at 600 miles per tank if careful. The d5 powerplant is an excellent lugger and a pleasure to drive long distance.
Great load capacity (nothing compared to a 940 though)
Excellent engine, great soundtrack, great power delivery by the last of the decent volvo diesels.
Not so good build quality - Squeaky plastic, Poor headlights, interior built at cost, cheap plastics,
Bog standard options - not my choosing
Could be better in places, Less ford junk, more Volvo quality.
