Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

One of the best cars I have owned. It is my first XC70 but I've had two V70s previously, always with manual gearboxes. They have been consistently reliable and the D5 is a lovely engine to drive. I generally buy quality cars with a good history at around 8 to 10 years old. The quality of the build means that it looks and feels like a car of only a few years old. Buy a good one with lots of options and enjoy.

How reliable do you find the car?

Car is completely reliable and has never let me down. Only 2 minor issues, which I fixed for MOT. I would consider these to be reasonable wear and tear on a car with this mileage. 1. Rear CV shaft replaced 125,000 miles (Fitted an identical Ford Galaxy part at half the price of Volvo) 2. Electronic Parking Brake module failed after long period of idleness during lockdown. Replaced with a used item off eBay for £25. One benefit, the chunkier tyres of the XC70 (compared to V70) offer greater comfort and much better longevity.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Very surefooted and good to drive on motorways, Country roads and off road. I know the steering is criticised as light but it has plenty of feel and is a very enjoyable and comfortable car to drive long distances even with 4 passengers and a full load.
