I bought it as a pre registered car from Alfa. All this car for £16K !!
Costs
Remember to fill up with oil every 4000 miles and the car will look after itself. Average 32 MPG over all journeys.

On the road
Driving
Handling is superb. I use the back roads just for the sheer fun of it. All the controls are driver related and there are very few gimmicks.
Performance
Punchiest 2l car around. selespeed is great. Once experienced you will never return to a manual.

Living with it
Reliability
this is my third Alfa, so you get to know the weak points. These are as follows. 1. Cam belts need changing every 42,000 miles (cost £600). 2 suspension bushes need replacing every 25,000 (cost £125) and most importantly CHECK THE OIL every 4,000.

Italian styling and handling, why would you buy anything else in this price range?
Comfort
Journeys up to 500 miles are very comfortable. The a/c system fitted is excellent for long trips. At night there is a reassuring red glow to all the instruments.
