Value
Beautiful to look at and excelent build quality. Car rattle free, looks and drives as new after 50000 miles. Standard equipment is generous.
Costs
Servicing costs are moderate, tyres last me 24K miles at the front and 48K at the rear. Average fuel consumption around 28mpg if driven sensibly. Higher than average depreciation.

On the road
Driving
Very agile for a large car, excellent roadholding and very neutral cornering. Engine at its best at over 4000rpm. but more than enough torque at lower engine speeds for normal driving.
Performance
Quite quick, engine quite flexible with a smooth drivetrain. It needs a little more power for dignified progress.

Very reliable, no major failures apart from clutch problem when new.

Ride firm but well damped, interior a little cramped in rear but generous in the front.
