Value
Bought a low mileage ex-Alfa press car for the price of an entry-level Focus. Astounding value at 2 to 3 yrs old.
Costs
Getting around 30 mpg currently on my 60 mile commute to work. Will be getting it serviced at the specialist Alfa dealer I bought it from - £160 plus VAT for annual/12000 mile service.

On the road
Driving
Surprisingly agile and sure-footed for a big saloon. This is a car that you can cruise in but also fling around when the mood takes you. Great fun.
Performance
Very lively for a 2 litre engine in a big car. You have to use the engine and gearbox (6 speed) to get the best our of it but the engine is probably one of the best 4 cylinder motors every made. Fabulous noise and snickety gearbox.

Reliability
Has been fine so far. Some interior creaks/buzzing on very poor road surfaces though very quiet at A-road/motorway speeds.

Comfort
Large leather seats with multi adjustment suit me fine. Climate control great, just leave it in Auto mode all the time...

Got all the insurance-required bits and pieces with the exception of deadlocks.

Bought from specialist dealer who knew his stuff. Had the time and interest and wants me to return so handled very well.
