A lot of car for the money.

    Costs

A millstone around my neck. Parts and serviceing are very expensive and it's that good to drive it positively encourages you to put your foot down (sometimes just to hear it).

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Best car I've ever driven. Buckets of grip, next to no body roll, just loves to scream around bends. Sounds ridiculous, it's only a 2 litre engine, you'll turn the radio off.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

More fun going from 30-70 than 0-60, sharp when you need it most.

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

Mechanically fantastic. 20,000 hard-driven miles with no major problems, but bits do fall off. The trim is shocking, the flat bottom of the car falls away. The driver door wouldn't shut properly for 3 months, the windows won't close properly.

Possibly the best looking car on the road. In terms of style, a modern classic. Strangely ugly from some angles, awesome from others. Hasn't dated at all and probably won't. Still turn around to look at it having walked away.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Take it as read it's a 2 seater with occasional seats/luggage space. My girlfriend says the front seats are the comfiest she's ever sat in, and she didn't mean just in cars.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Factory fitted immobiliser and alarm. Alarm recently gave up the ghost, dealership not interested. Unlikely to be able to drive away in it.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Not interested in problems with older cars.
