What does this car say about you?
I like good looking cars and this looks good in the black edition.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Good looking car, too dark inside. Good sound system. Ride is bouncy. Too much noise inside from the tires can be very tiring on a long journey.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - very reliable. Excellent fuel economy form the 140 2.0 tdi engine. Very comfortable front seats.
What are you likely to buy next?
The new A3 but only if the tire noise from the S-line spec cars is better otherwise I will move to another manufacture. Audi take note as a premium hatch you need to sort the tire noise on the S-line.

Low emissions as this is a company plus it looks good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives well, not a real drivers car. Handling is very safe. For tires I prefer the bridgestone as the continentals can push wide through bends ( understeer).Gearbox is good. Steering is light with predictable feedback.
What's it like to park?
Easy, black spot caused by side pillars so look twice!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Car has been very reliable with no issues. But beware due to a small accident the HID headlamp had to be replaced at £1100 by my local Audi dealer. They had replace the bare headlamp, the bulb, the self leveling motor unit. The car is S-line spec so this is the LED headlamp.
What's most practical about your car?
The car has enough room with 5 doors and a larger boot then the BMW 1 series. Front seats are very good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
BOSE system with 6 cd built in radio. Sound is very good but the overall noise in the cabin is let down badly by tire noise.
