What does this car say about you?
Try-hard. You'd love to be able to afford a nice car, but unfortunately have to settle for something mediocre.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nice, but surprised how pokey it is inside - my previous MKV Golf was bigger inside.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Over-priced and impractical.

Volvo XC70.

Reasonable money off, but still expensive as with a main dealer.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed an estate car.
What was the dealer like?
Reasonable - not great.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not pleasant at all. The 170bhp engine is very difficult off the mark. It is a very fine line between stalling and motoring off the line like a moron. I would recommend the 140bhp engine as the torque distribution is a lot smoother. Apart from that, it didn't really feel like it had any more power than the 140bhp either.
What's it like to park?
Not bad - fairly flat edges to the car. Low profile tyres made it more difficult than it needed to be though.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch went at 35k.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing - it is the least practical estate car I have ever owned.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Nothing - no real gadgets to mention.
