What does this car say about you?
Quite understated and good quality car. The A4 Avant doesn't tend to attract the 'beemer boy'crowd, which is nice.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Nice car
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, having said that I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from buying an Avant but if you've got a growing family or carry passengers for long journeys, you may find the cramped rear back seats a problem.

Bought from a collegue who cherished the car from new and got it slightly cheaper than if purchaed from a dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Composed and precise, though not exactly 'exiting'. The Sport suspension can make the car feel like a bone shaker over uneven surfaces and there's quite alot of wind noise once you get over 80MPH. Would opt for the SE spec next time for a more settled ride.
What's it like to park?
Quite easy because of good all round visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
So far excellent. Slight rattle from the top of the dashboard at times but other than this small annoyance, very good.
What's most practical about your car?
Seats lay flat for lugging loads.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
MP3 player and Sat Nav.
