Yes but my changing needs probably mean that I will go for the A5 Sportback.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Pretty good but not outstanding. A few enhancements were included at no extra charge.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

My previous car had been an A6 Avant 2.5TDi Quattro with which I was very impressed but I wanted to replace it with something similar but slightly smaller.

What was the dealer like?

Professional yet approachable.

What's it like to drive?

Smooth, refined, quite torquey and happy to cruise at motorway speeds. It will return 45mpg on a decent trip - not bad for a 2.7 litre V6.

What's it like to park?

Even without rear sensors, All-round vision is good and I've never had a problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Hardly anything. The diesel particulate filter needed re-charging but Audi explained what I would need to do in order to recify the fault myself, if it ever happened again.

What's most practical about your car?

As an estate, the Avant is of course a capable load carrier.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Undecided between the multitronic (with added paddle gear shift) and the Bose sound system.
