What does this car say about you?

I've reached a stage in my life where I want high quality, comfort and excellent power but without being flashy.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I live rural and only have one neighbour but he thinks it's great. Although generally I don't care what others think about my choice as long as I and my wife are happy.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely, unless it all goes wrong later. I think the build of this Audi (and other Audi's) is just superb. It oozes quality and makes you feel so at ease with the world.

What are you likely to buy next?

I hope to keep this for a long time but next it will be Audi again.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Excellent deal on the Audi because of its high mileage (80,000). Rotten deal on my p/x.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a high quality, 4WD, auto estate car.

What was the dealer like?

Average, helpful but lied about what he would only get for my p/x. It's my own fault, I should have sold it privately but didn't want the hassle.

What's it like to drive?

The power of this 3.0 TDI diesel coupled with 4WD (Quattro) is awesome. On a wet or slippery road this is better at take-off than any BMW and just keeps on going. It eats steep hills! The car also drives like a dream, the V6 diesel is incredibly quiet without any clatter whatsoever and I just cannot stop smiling.

What's it like to park?

Easy but I'm use to bigger estate cars. It didn't have reversing sensors but I'll have them fitted just in case of any unseen concrete stumps! I think of this car as a 'longish' hatch rather than as a massive load-carrying estate

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing but I've only had a few days. It's simply brilliant to drive and I'm like a kid with a new toy.

What's most practical about your car?

Being an estate it has enough room for my large GSD, although the boot is relatively small for an estate car.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I like the load safety net which pulls up from the boot cover system and slots into the roof of the car. This is apparently to prevent any loose objects being thrown forward in an accident - but for me it doubles as a great dog guard!
