Generally impressed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I tend to keep cars for a long time and Audi doesn't seem to develop the same expensive faults as its' major German competitors in the 2nd half of life. My last A6 was virtually faultless during the13 years I owned it, and is still going strong on its' 3rd owner.
What are you likely to buy next?
A6. It isn't as comfortable as the equivalent Mercedes, or as sharp a driving experience as the BMW, but represents the best overall package if you are considering keeping the car for more than 3 years.

Yes, I got a good deal. The price I paid was the best going rate indicated by the motoring fraternity at time of purchase.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
A good experience on all occasions (except the final warranty check, where the dealer could have been more flexible ).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fine generally. The driving seat feels a little removed from the road compared to it's German competitors. I know the hard suspension gives me v. good road holding, but to be honest, I never drive the car to its' limits and would prefer a smoother ride with softer suspension.
What's it like to park?
OK as long as you keep your wits about you. Having said that, on several occasions when I've been going in to town, I have found myself taking my wife's smaller car, rather than facing up to the issues of parking a larger car with less easily defined extremities.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nope! Having said that, the driver's seat could be more comfortable (...the front passenger seat is fine), but Audi unable to recognise this as an issue. The standard car stereo not as good as my previous A6.
What's most practical about your car?
Really big load space with the back seats flat.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The pop-up satnav - but this is not without some blemishes.
