  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Enjoy quality but nothing too extravagant as this remains a classy convertible.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Love it. Both to look at and when they see the roof fold all are amazed.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. Smiles per mile. For such quality and an overall superb package.

What are you likely to buy next?

Something similar to this, but not for some time as I cannot imagine why I would need to change it. Dropping from a 530d to a 320d has resulted in minimal performance loss but a lot of increase in mpg.

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £26,500

When did you buy the car?

    December 2009

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. Happy to negotiate and knocked £1500 off initial mark up price. This equated to a 25% saving off list to a car less than 6 months old.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Best handling and looking real world four seater cabriolet!

    What was the dealer like?

Excellent. Would thoroughly recommend Soper of Lincoln.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Superb. Extremely well balanced. 177bhp is more than enough power yet it still touches 50mpg on my long commute runs.

    What's it like to park?

Easy. I downsized from a 5 series Estate thus it feels like a toy!

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

    Nothing.

What's most practical about your car?

Ability to entertain me when driving alone but also able to accommodate my wife and daughters when I need to.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Folding metal roof. But also impressed with excellent Bluetooth and a wing mirror that dips when you select reverse.
