  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

Honestly? Probably that I'm a bit of a flash git. Which I'm not.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it. Sounds, looks and goes great.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No. I would 100% have a 335i again, but I would buy the manual.

What are you likely to buy next?

Range Rover Sport or BMW 4Series Diesel (depending on how successful I am this year!).

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £11,995

When did you buy the car?

    March 2014

Did you get a good deal and why?

Not particularly, I think I over paid. The dealer also told me it had bluetooth, which didn't. He also told me the car was taxed, which it wasn't.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

Absolute scam artist. Avoid Harrogate Car Company like the plague.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fantastic. Tons of power, great grip - it never lets go (unless it is ever so slightly damp, then it skids all over the shop!). If I was buying it again though I'd get the manual, the 'flappy paddle' box is good, but you don't really use it & I think a straight manual would be a better overall driving experience.

    What's it like to park?

Really, really easy - parking sensors & being male make it nice and easy.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, water pump went at around 76,000 miles. Quoted around £1,000 from dealer, had done by private garage for £430.

What's most practical about your car?

The speed. Not necessarily practical, but I'm never late :). The rear seats fold down which is good (although it took me 6months to find the lever to fold them down!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Everybody loves the gadget that passes you your seatbelt...
