Expensive compared to other makes.

Driving
Great drivers car. Suits either relaxed cruising or more spirited driving. Only critisism is that it does tramline more than previous cars I've owned.
Performance
Excellent performance from the 2.8 although it does need to be revved past 4000 to get the best from it.

Reliability
Not as reliable as I expected. never broken down but lots of silly thing have required repair such as fuel guage. Also eats suspension bushes. They need changing about every 30K.

Depends on who is looking. Some people hate BMWs, Some people love them.

A very comfortable car, excellent for long journeys.

Didn't require any additional security for my insurance so it must be good.

Not used main dealers enough to comment. BMW UK are very helpful.

Had to replace power steering pump.
Other
Snapped rear spring. Also had to replace all the suspension bushes and ball joints.
