What does this car say about you?

Career person, moving to first premium car, but can only really afford the basic version at present

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Generally love the size and drive performance of car, and the whole BMW thing, but wife thinks its a bit to bling, and friends think its a bit boring and common these days.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No.. Was seriously considering replacing this with the 320D Touring, but after all the recent issues with car, and dealing with the awful BMW after care people, it would take a very special car to tempt me back to BMW

What are you likely to buy next?

Have already ordered the Audi A4 Avant. IMO, better looking car than the 3 Series Touring with more space. Nice soft drive, with lighter steering around town but perhaps not as engaging as the 3 series in overall performance.

What's it like to drive?

Dream on a dry road. Fantastic grip around corners. Brilliant and comfortable motorway cruiser. Different story in very wet or icy conditions. Keeping it on the road is an achievement.

What's it like to park?

Easy with rear parking sensors

Have you had any problems with the car?

Car was near perfect for the first two years of ownership. Couple of niggles, nothing major, but the past 6 months have been a nightmare. 2 Air Con Units replaced, Power Steering fault, Handbreak fault, Air Bag Unit replaced, and complete electronics board replaced.

What's most practical about your car?

Good room for 4 adults
