Supremely comfortable, quiet and economical. Fantastic Autobahn bruiser, never let me down. However let down by recurring niggles that you don’t expect with this type of car. Walk away if there’s no evidence of regular oil changes and check for wet carpets as they leak everywhere. Find an independent specialist to service it as BMW dealer costs are astronomical. Excellent availability of parts from independents but as noted these are variable quality. Don’t assume service history means high quality parts used
How reliable do you find the car?
Zero breakdowns, but perpetual oil leaks, fix one and chase another. Cabin rain water leaks from the bulkhead, door seals, windscreen and boot. Check the carpets for dampness!!!
